Enterprise World 2014 was a Magical Success

Enterprise World 2014 has wrapped up and from Syntergy's viewpoint is was a resounding success! Orlando was once again the back drop for Syntergy to "show our magic" so to speak. "Year after year we are amazed at the great response we get here at Enterprise World." stated Doug Arthur, President of Syntergy. "We had a record turnout out or booth. It was a combination of people wanting to hear about our new products, Director and Data Manager, and others looking for specific solutions to current needs." Syntergy hosted a dinner for customers new and old and had strategic meetings with OpenText employees and partners.

For Syntergy the best part of any trade show is the chance to meet customers and discuss their needs. This year's Enterprise World 2014 in Orlando, Florida was no exception. It is always great to see our current customers come by the booth to say hi and see what's new. "What's even better is when they come by with a specific need that we can help them with." said Product Manager Greg Worden.

At this year's show a majority of customers were getting their first look at Director, the desktop application that simplifies the interface to Content Server. Another group had a specific interest in Replication and how it can help them maintain accurate data at satellite sites. Many companies have a problem effectively meeting data compliance requirements at sites with low bandwidth. Replicator was designed to meet this requirement.

As always it was great to see a large contingent of customers from overseas. Syntergy drew a lot of interest when we participated in the OpenText Innovation Tour this year. It gave us a great opportunity to meet Content Server customers around the world. A lot of the people we met on the Innovation Tour were at Enterprise World looking for a range of solutions including replication, bulk loading, upgrading and workflow. One area that drew a lot of interest was using Replicator to upgrade Content Server while keeping it online for active users.

When the booth wasn't busy our people were off to visit the many breakout sessions. The technology behind Content Server is continually evolving so the many technology transfer sessions are a valuable part of Enterprise World. One of the great benefits of being at Enterprise World is the ability to talk to the developers at OpenText and ask questions, share ideas and establish relationships.

Syntergy hosted a dinner for many of the existing and prospective customers at the show. One benefit of the get together was that customers could share their experiences with one another in an informal setting. Another benefit was that prospective customers could talk to existing customers and ask questions about how solutions were actually implemented at an organization site. An advantage of being in business for 18 years is that we have a long list of experienced customers that will talk the Syntergy story for us. Our best salespeople are our customers.
