On December 9, 2021, Syntergy was made aware of a vulnerability in the Java Log4j logging library, CVE-2021-44228. We immediately initiated our incident response process to determine our usage of this framework and its impact across our products and infrastructure.
Syntergy products are not directly affected by the Java Log4j vulnerability. However, the OpenText platform where our products are generally installed on are affected. OpenText has responded to the vulnerability to help protect customers. OpenText Partners and customers can monitor the response here.
Given the severity of the Log4j vulnerability, Syntergy recommends customer take action immediately to address exploitation.
