Syntergy to Focus on Products and Solutions for OpenText Content Server^®

La Jolla, California - March 16, 2012—Syntergy announces that, after the sale of its SharePoint® products division, it will continue to operate independently with a focus on solutions for OpenText Content Server®. “We are very excited to move forward after the SharePoint sale as an OpenText partner providing solutions for our Content Server customers”, said Doug Arthur, president of Syntergy. “We have been in the OpenText business for over 15 years and have developed a premier line of products to offer customers. Interest in our replication product has taken off as organizations around the world see the value proposition it offers.”

Although it was difficult to say good bye to the people involved in the SharePoint business it has been exciting to continue on in the Open Text world in which Syntergy began. Most of the original Livelink team from the earliest days of Syntergy (1997) stayed with the company. To a person they all expressed excitement about the future of the company now that they were focused only on developing Content Server products and solutions.

The biggest change after the sale was the agreement that Syntergy would become an official partner of Open Text focusing on data moving products and solutions for the Content Server market. Syntergy has found that marketing their products through the Open Text Partner Webinar Series has been an excellent way to find customers that need their products.
